With the rapid spread of COVID-19, its impact is affecting everyone. PICKUP is a team comprised of our employees, delivery pros “PICKUP Good Guys”, partners, and customers. Many of our team members are military veterans and first responders working both in the field and at our home office supporting our customers across the nation.
We’re taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our team and our customers. In the interest of the safety, health and well-being of our team, we’ve asked them to follow the recommended guidelines from the CDC and WHO (World Health Organization). We’re also communicating with our PICKUP Good Guys, on new protocols and guidance for customers’ deliveries. In order to better serve our partners and customers during this time, we’re extending our services to include:
- Optional contactless delivery – providing customers the option for delivery placement outside of the home (garage, front door, patio, etc.)
- Small item deliveries
- BOPIS and BODFS services
- Reschedules/cancellations at no cost
We are working with local municipalities where possible to assist in relief efforts and providing help and services for those at home needing products delivered.
Our business was built on the amazing reputation and service level of the PICKUP Good Guys. They are the fulfillment of our brand promise by delivering on that every day. Our entire team remains steady, strong and available to help in good and challenging times. As this situation evolves, we expect to maintain the strong national presence we have built from the ground up and will be stronger on the other side. At PICKUP, the safety and well-being of our employees, PICKUP Good Guys (delivery pros), partners and customers remains our top priority. Our team is committed to delivering the highest level of service and following CDC and WHO (Word Health Organization) Guidelines.
Formed COVID-19 Response Team to address challenges and to stay updated on this evolving crisis.
- Established safety tips and sanitation guidelines as recommended by the CDC and WHO, and continue to send reminders and updates as they occur.
- Communicating regularly to all employees and PICKUP Good Guys the importance of staying home when they are sick.
- Ceased all in-person PICKUP Good Guy orientations and onboarding sessions.
We continue to encourage all of our PICKUP Good Guys to practice the CDC guidelines for prevention and to stay home if they, or a family member, are feeling ill. In the interest of the health, safety and well-being of all of our employees, we have closed our headquarters and moved to a remote work structure.
For customers who have concerns, we’re now offering optional contactless delivery. This means that our PICKUP Good Guys can deliver your items to your garage, front porch, or a designated area that you prefer which doesn’t involve in-home delivery. There are three easy ways to request this:
- Contact our Customer Success Team at 1-800-560-2168
- Place your order online and add “Contactless Delivery” in the special instructions field
- Inform your PICKUP Good Guy that you wish to have Contactless Delivery
No customer signature is required at this time to make our customers feel at ease. Our PICKUP Good Guys will confirm that the order has been completed and will sign on your behalf annotating that it was a “Contactless Delivery”.
Yes, we are 100% operational and will continue to be here for our customers and partners! Our service hours remain the same and we’re currently operational from 7am-9 pm local time. However, we will abide by any designated curfew times.
