Veterans are an esteemed class of people. The men and women of the United States Armed Forces have courageously served and serve our country each and every day. Maybe they put certain dreams on hold or had to sacrifice precious time with loved ones. It takes a very special kind of person to fight for our freedom and protection. That’s service – placing others’ needs above your own.
People who put others before themselves are exactly who we want on our team. These characteristics found in veterans make them ideal coworkers, including leadership, trustworthiness, loyalty, perseverance, teamwork and integrity. When an applicant marks “Protected Veteran” on their job application, we take notice.
We support our military across the nation, along with our employees and delivery pros who are proud veterans. In fact, our corporate team currently consists of twenty veterans, and the delivery team is made up of countless more. As a result, PICKUP is all the better for it.
