Announcing PICKUP’s SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance Certification

Last year, we achieved a major security milestone with our SOC 2 Type 1 certification. We’re proud to announce that in an effort to continuously mature PICKUP’s information security program, we successfully achieved the SOC 2 Type 2 certification on March 24, 2022. Conducted by independent accounting firm, Moss Adams, our SOC 2 Type 2 audit confirms our internal controls and verifies the efficacy of securely processing customer data.

These security enhancements were led by our Chief Security Officer, Tim Delgado, and our Chief Technology Officer, Jason Zubrick. With their leadership, dedication and the relentless effort of our business and technology teams alike, PICKUP has demonstrated the ability to implement essential data protections. Future systems and features added to our ecosystem will inherently integrate with our existing security program, policies, and procedures.

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is a report on organizational controls relevant to the criteria for managing the protection of customer data based on five “trust service principles:” security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. From digital safeguards like disc encryption and multifactor authentication to employee responsibilities like education and training, Moss Adams concluded that PICKUP’s systems and data are secure and protected, issuing an “unqualified” report opinion, the highest score on the audit grading scale.

At PICKUP, we are committed to conducting annual SOC 2 Type 2 independent reviews of our information security practices . We will continue to provide our partners with the highest standard of information security. PICKUP’s security program should provide partners and customers peace of mind when using PICKUP’s Fusion Formula API-integrated delivery solution.
